Ms. Y (sometimes Letterlight Y in the Lives of the Letter People program), as the informal part of her name is abbreviated, is a completely reworked version of the original "Mister" Y. She is a female Letter Person, and gets her sound from the yodeling yawn she makes.
Appearance[]
Ms. Y has purple skin, green hair, a purple shirt with blue overalls (the colors between her shirt and overalls are swapped in the 1999 design), and red shoes. The inside of her mouth is yellow with an orange tongue. Originally, in her huggable form (her first design in 1997), she is missing arms and hands, just like Mr. C, and wears only purple jeans.
The position of the Capital "Y" and lowercase "y" Ms. Y wears has changed over the years. In her 1997 and 1999 designs, the Capital "Y" and lowercase "y" were positioned on the left and right sides of her large face, respectively. In her current design, her Capital "Y" is on the front of her overalls and her lowercase "y" is on the back of her overalls.
As a Letterlight, Ms. Y wears similar clothing colors like the other Letterlights. In this case, the colors of both her Capital "Y" and lowercase "y" become yellow, she wears a red shirt with a sun symbol on the top-left of it, blue overalls, and yellow shoes.
